Visit to the Recessional Garden

The SED PCT’s took a field trip to a recessional garden out by the town barrage. The barrage is a reservoir that is filled up during the rainy season. When the water recedes, the land that is uncovered reveals an excellent soil for planting. This excellent soil is exploited for a recessional garden. Here are some photos of some of the most lush greens I’ve seen here in Burkina Faso and our foray into harvesting potatoes.
