Animal Farm

Sheep feeding time (by the way, this is what sheep look like in Burkina Faso). I know they look like goats, but they’re not. Goats’ tails point upward. Sheep tails point downward.

One of courtyard rabbits. At one point there were give-or-take ten rabbits, but then all but three were sold and two chickens were purchased. The rabbits are either lounging in the shade or trolling for food, with the term “food” being used loosely (they appear to be cropophiliacs).

Speaking of the chickens, here they are (the two brown ones). That white rooster barged into this picture in the same manner that he barges into the family courtyard every morning. His crowing is most unwelcome. Now that the family has the chickens, that rooster struts around the courtyard like he owns the place, on a daily basis. The family doesn’t chase him away because they want to start eating omelets for breakfast.
